These are fun for the first hour, with the assistance of a parent. I would not encourage children to go it alone with these, you certainly need a parent, grandparent or another suitable person to assist the child. Are adjustable and fits in most shoes. I encourage the use not only the knee and elbow pads, gloves and Helmut but that your child may fall several times while learning to use the pads correctly. They are sweet, they enter into their bag and must be used on a flat surface without bumps.
